ChomWhales

The ChomWhales project focuses on the conservation of cetaceans (whales and dolphins) living in the gulf of Thailand. Our purpose is to both educate the public and provide wild encounter whale experiences to people who are interested in these lovely animals. All proceeds from our trips and activities go to support our marine programs.

This seasonal program gives people a close-to-nature experience to understand the lives of these magnificent mammals while learning the best practices of whale watching. Each trip also contributes to the Thai national Bryde’s whale database by providing added data and photo ID to the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources.

You can join our crew of volunteers on day trips, every year from June to December
